Honey-Broiled Salmon Filets

This recipe is super easy to prepare and cook, making it a great option for busy weeknights. All you need to do is mix the ingredients for the glaze, brush it over the salmon, broil it for a few minutes, and voila! The result is a beautiful, golden brown, and perfectly cooked salmon fillet that is both sweet and savory.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 salmon filets 4-6oz each
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 scallion optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the broiler to high and place a rack 6-8 inches from heat source.
  • Arrange the salmon filets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  • In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and black pepper.
  • Brush half of the mixture over the salmon filets.
  • Broil the salmon for 3-4 minutes and then brush with the remaining mixture.
  • Broil for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon is browned on top and cooked through.
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. (Optional) Chop the scallion and use to top salmon and side dishes.
